We like DIY. And when there's gold involved, we totally love it! An easy way to  give your tables a golden touch is to create some golden bottles. The bottles can be used as vases or grouped together.

Here, these solid gold bottles with a single bright flower make such a statement as a centerpiece at this North Texas Wedding featured on Wedding Chick. Style Me Pretty featured their own take on golden bottles by giving their bottles a dipped look with liquid gold leaf. Learn how to recreate the look here . The varying tints and finishes from this Wedding Star gold bottle DIY post really has us agog. Incorporate your own gold-themed color palette (check out these gold color schemes from Elegant Wedding Invites) to give your bottles a personalized touch.

While the super rich of the world may enjoy sundaes with 23K gold-infused whipped cream, we’ll settle for a cake with a shimmery yellow finish like the ones featured on Polka Dot Bride.

If solid gold is too much for you to stomach, choose a cake with an elegant touch of gold. Less is more!

Gold doesn’t have to make a huge statement at your wedding though. We love these little details, like accent-painted trinkets or glittery-gold candles. Weddingstar DIY will show you how to put a little glitter on your table.

Make your menu or a special greeting stand out from the crowd with an antique golden-framed chalkboard. The large standing easels add such class, but we prefer the smaller ones. Reuse it after the wedding! (Who wouldn't love a glammed-up inspirational quote in their kitchen or foyer after the wedding?) Buy it from Etsy, or make it yourself with this easy DIY from HGTV.

For a golden touch on your bouquet, a little bit of ribbon can go a long way! Add sequins for a more glittery feel or just stick to a simple matte ribbon.

Finally, our favorite way to give some golden flash to your wedding: sparklers! Most people might not think about the golden effect of sparklers, but just search “sparklers + wedding” and see how beautifully that glitter glows! Whether you leave the party under a shimmery glow, or capture a fairy tale-worthy moment, sparklers are sure to give a dose of gold to your wedding.

The yellow metal is all the rave right now, and what we found above is just a taste! Be creative to make gold work for your style and aesthetic. Go ahead and get your gold on!

xoxo,

the sparkler
